Date of Funeral

Friday, November 20, 2020

Ryan Ray Rogina, 30, was tragically taken from his family and friends on October 30, 2020 in Windsor, Colo. There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Ryan was born March 15, 1990 in Bismarck to Bryan and Tina (Kolling) Rogina. Their family moved back to Dickinson shortly after. As a child Ryan was very independent and driven. He enjoyed riding his bike, spending countless hours in garages and automotive shops with family and friends. Ryan’s dad would often find him asleep in the driver’s seat of the family’s ‘65 Chevelle.

Ryan had multiple hobbies including: skateboarding, motorcycles, hunting and his most favorite was playing guitar. Ryan perfected his talents with rock and heavy metal. He always found himself working on vehicles which led to his true passion which he carried through life.

Ryan graduated from Dickinson High School in 2009, he continued working on cars, attending drag races, playing guitar and drawing. Always being ambitious he began a new chapter in the gym.

In 2016, he moved to Greeley, Colo. for a fresh start and to be close to his friend Zach. Ryan worked for a wire line company and started to build his new life. He fell more in love with the gym everyday, and had hopes of presenting himself on stage.

Ryan often found himself taking day trips into the Rocky Mountains either by car or motorcycle. Being the engaging person he was, Ryan made friends everywhere he went, but always found himself back hanging out at the home of Zach and his wife Saraya. He had a special place in his heart for their dog “Stout”.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Bryan and Tina Rogina; brother, Skyler (girlfriend-Maggie), Rogina; best friend/brother, Zach (Saraya) Prociv; close friends, Garrett Brown, Haylee Whitworth; honorary nieces, Ava Rounkles and Sutton Prociv; and honorary uncle, Tim Kitzan.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth (Hanel) Kolling; grandfather, Ray Rogina; uncle, Kurt Kolling (who was like another father); and cousins, Mark Wagner, Chad Churchill and Chance Churchill.
