Victor Dolajak Jr., or known to many as “V.D.”, died Thursday November 28th at Central Wyo. Hospice after fighting a short battle with cancer.
He was born to Victor & Emma (Roller) Dolajak in Dickinson, ND July 9th 1946. He has 4 sisters, Viola Hoffman, South Heart, ND, Donna Kuntz (Paul), Dickinson, ND, Margie Kubischta, Dickinson, ND, Marilyn, deceased (Bob) Binek, Killdeer, ND.
He married Darlene Tysver Nov 28th, 1967 in Dickinson, ND and together they had 3 children, Victor III and Shawn, both deceased, Tina (Scott) Marcus of Casper. He had 3 grandchildren, Katie and Evan Dolajak and Danyl Marcus all of Casper. They later divorced and he was married again to Eslyn Cooper May 24, 1995 in Nevada, they later moved back to Casper. The marriage brought 4 step-children, Kass (Kari) Cornella of Douglas, WY, Nicole Dennison of Buffalo, SD, Valeria Johnson and Lorena Cornella both of Casper along with 12 grandchildren.
Vic worked as a Diesel Mechanic most of his life, retiring from Rissler McMurry. Vic had many hobbies which included building anything and everything out of wood along with model airplanes. He also raced a mini Mod Lite race car for a season at Glenrock Motor Speedway.
As per Vic’s wishes there will be no service, however he wanted a Celebration of Life at Frosty’s Bar & Grill, 520 S. Center St., Casper, WY. This will be held Saturday December 7th at 1:00 pm. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson N.D. in Spring 2020.
