On April 16, 2026, Victoria “Vickie” Ann Karras, age 84, of Dickinson, North Dakota, was called home to be with the Lord. After a long life marked by steadfast faith and a heart open to God’s love, she entered into eternal rest, embraced by the promise of everlasting peace. Victoria faced her final illness with courage, grace, and unwavering trust in God’s care.

Victoria’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2026 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Ryan Martire as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Cemetery, Fairfield. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Friends and family are invited to gather in fellowship, share memories, and honor a woman whose life was a testament to God’s grace.

In lieu of flowers, please hold a mass in Vickie’s name at your place of faith.

Born on May 8, 1941, to Matt and Katie (Evoniuk) Logosz. Vickie was raised on the family farm in the Gorham/Fairfield area, where she learned the values of hard work, faith, and family that shaped her entire life.

Vickie was a woman of gentle creativity and simple joys. She loved spending quiet moments with her needlepoint embroidery, crafting each piece with patience and care. She had a deep passion for cookbooks, collecting them throughout her life and delighting in exploring new recipes. She enjoyed relaxing with word‑search puzzles, and she found joy in playing games on her iPad and phone, a pastime that kept her mind active and brought her many smiles. Her warm presence, steady spirit, and humor touched everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Charmaine Kanski, Cottage Grove, MN, Colleen (Mike) Duppong, Dickinson, Charles (Kim) Kanski, Stillwater, MN, and Chris (Becky) Kanski, Dickinson.

To include her grandchildren, Christina Richard, Belfield, Caitlin Stene-Fredrickson (Tim), Madison, WI, Christian Rodakowski, Belfield, Lane Kanski, Minot, Shelby Kanski, Framingham, MA, Evelyn Kanski, Stillwater, MN.

Also survived by her great grandchildren, Clay Richard, Cole Richard, Clint Richard, Natalie Richard, and Josie Fredrickson.

She will be missed by her surviving sisters, Angie Chruszch, Fairfield, Marina (Hugh) Hlebechuk, Belfield, and Charlotte (Darryl) Heim, Dickinson.

Vickie is further survived by many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Vickie was preceded in death by her late husband, Raymond J. Karras; and by her first husband, Fred Kanski; parents, Matt and Katie (Evoniuk) Logosz; sister, Bernadette (Robert) Sturgeon; sister, Patsy (Gary) Kadrmas; her beloved grandson, Jared Stene; and brother-in-law William (Bill) Chruszch.
