Judy Marleen Stenberg entered into the glory of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Judy’s Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Rev. Jim Hessler as officiant. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson and will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Private inurnment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. 

Judy Marleen Dukart was born July 20, 1950 in Dickinson, the daughter of Philip G. and Veronica (Heidt) Dukart. She attended grade school in Schefield and graduated from Dickinson High School. Judy continued her education at Joseph’s School of Hair Design.

Judy was united in marriage to Ralph Frenzel Jr. and was gifted a daughter, Stephanie Jane. After Ralph’s passing, Judy married Stewart Stenberg on July 20, 2002 in Dickinson and she was gifted with two step-children, Brett Stenberg and Holly Stenberg along with five grandchildren, McKynna Stenberg, Jazmin Barry, Zavrina Pickstock, and Simeon Pickstock and Atlas Naumann.

She was a past ND Hairdresser’s Association President, Vice President and Historian, and was on the ND Hair Fashion Committee.

Judy enjoyed cooking for her family, playing cards, watching sports—especially football & baseball, and watching her grandkids sporting events.

Judy is survived by her husband, Stewart Stenberg; daughter, Stephanie Frenzel, Packwood, WA, step-son, Brett Stenberg, Bismarck, step-daughter, Holly Stenberg, Dickinson; siblings, Elvera Reindel, Dickinson, Daniel Dukart, Albany, OR, Cindy Materi, Portland, Cliff (Tana) Dukart, Portland, Neal (Lisa) Dukart, Dickinson; in-laws, Ben Houser, Linda Keller, Donna Frenzel, Gayle (Myron) Kadrmas, Don (Lonnie) Frenzel, Sandy Frenzel, Deb Stockert, Ella Izzy Mastel, and Diane Stenberg.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Frenzel Jr.; her parents; brother, Willy Dukart; in-laws, James Frenzel, Dennis Frenzel, Gene Keller, Val Stockert, Dave Materi, Dale Reindel, Edward and Judy Ficek, Bill Stenberg, and Jane Houser; grandparents, John and Elizabeth Dukart, Roy and Wilhemena Heidt; in-laws, Ralph and Tillie Frenzel; and numerous aunts, uncles.
